Curt Swan and Frank Chiaramonte - Action Comics #500, page 27 Original Art (DC, 1979). For many Silver and Bronze Age readers, Curt Swan remains the Superman artist. In this flashback scene from "The Life Story of Superman," Superman recalls how he fashioned his indestructible x-ray and heat vision-proof Clark Kent glasses out of his Kryptonian rocket's viewport.
