    Description

Chris Ware Acme Novelty Library #1 "Jimmy Corrigan" Page Original Art (Fantagraphics, 1993). In "Jimmy Gets Out of the House Part III," artist/author Chris Ware invents a completely new synopsis in his "Our Story So Far" intro, but the end result is the same: Jimmy, naked and reduced to the size of an insect, gets free from the tree his miniature rocket ship crashed into and finds himself at the home of Susie Smith, whom he hopes to see in "her underpants." Crazy, zany stuff that almost could pass for a 1930s Sunday Comics page, drawn in ink over blue pencil on illustration board. The image size is approximately 13.5" x 19". The black-on-white captions are pasted-on production photostats. Other than minor wear in the outer boarders, the page is in Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
