    Description

Carl Barks Uncle Scrooge #59 "North of the Yukon" Page 15 Original Art (Gold Key, 1965). Soapy Slick is not above using some dirty tricks on Scrooge and his dog sled team to protect his lead in the race to trump Scrooge, in this page from Carl Barks' final adventure involving Scrooge in Alaska. (Scrooge's old sled leader, Barko, was inspired by Balto and his famous 1925 serum run to Nome.) The art consists of two segments of bristol taped together from the back, with a combined image area of 16" x 23.25". In Excellent condition. Signed by Barks in the lower right corner, below the last panel.
