    Description

Carl Barks Uncle Scrooge #13 Panel Page Original Art (Dell, 1953). Here is an exceptionally rare piece of Barks art! This four panel sequence from "The Land Beneath the Ground" was originally edited out of Uncle Scrooge #13 (as part of a reduction of the story by several pages to make room for a backup feature) and then restored many years later in the Gladstone reprint in 1988. Terrific images of the nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie in a runaway mine car. Produced in ink over blue line on Bristol board with an image area of 16" x 11.5". Slight toning. Signed by Barks in the upper margin. In Excellent condition.
