Description

Bill Sienkiewicz New Mutants #18 Story Page 21 Original Art (Marvel, 1984). From the first issue of Sienkiewicz' run on New Mutants, which that helped make him a fan-favorite artist. He and Marvel's top writer of mutant stories, Chris Claremont, were a force to be reckoned with! Here, we get a fantastic sequence showing Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane) switching into full wolf-mode, as she leads Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), Roberto DaCosta (Sunspot), and Illyana Rasputin (Magik) to find Dani Moonstar (Mirage). What they find is not so good. The page is crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Both Claremont and Sienkiewicz signed in the lower margin. All text is paste-up. The board is lightly toned, with corner trims, and some handling wear in the lower margin. Overall, in Very Good condition.
