Description

Bill Everett Daredevil #1 page 6 Original Art (Marvel, 1964). The Marvel Age of Heroes took another mighty leap forward with the sensational debut issue of Daredevil. In the classic tale, "The Origin of Daredevil," Golden Age legend Bill Everett co-created a new, fabulous Silver Age comic book hero, and in this landmark page Matt Murdock is given the then mocking nickname of "Daredevil" by neighborhood wise guys. Face front, true believers, Marvel lore was made at that instant, and Bill Everett's polished inking was showcased at its finest. The image area of this page is 12" x 18". The word balloons and captions were re-lettered and glued to the paper; otherwise, the art in Very Good condition.
