Bill Elder's talent for mimicry bent to the purpose of savage lampoonery is showcased at its finest on these parodies of "Comic Book Ads." First up is the art for "Comic Book Ads", the introduction which sets up the feature. It has an image area that measures 13" x 8". The Basil Wolverton portrait in panel two is a stat; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition. Next up is a comic strip-sized piece of art that was a parody of the old Christmas card sales pitch. This measures 14.5" x 3". It has a piece cut out of the lower left corner, where a portrait of "Uncle Louie" appeared in the printed page; otherwise it is in Excellent condition. The last piece is the art for "Adventures of the Rubber Bubble Kids," an uproarious send-up of the Fleer Double Bubble cartoon strips.
