    Description

Bernie Wrightson Eerie #62 Page 35 Original Art (Warren, 1975). Sheer magnificence. Wrightson's loyal adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's "Cool Air" is a high-water mark in the history of Warren's black-and-white horror comics, with a quietly nightmarish tone to rival the prose original. Here, the narrator discovers a dire secret about his upstairs neighbor. Signed by the artist (as "Berni Wrightson"). Ink and shading chemicals over graphite on Craftint Duotone board. The image area measures 11.25" x 16.5", with light toning and whiteout retouching. Excellent condition.
