    Description

Bernie Krigstein and Reed Crandall Crime Illustrated #1 "Fall Guy for Murder" Page 12 Original Art (EC, 1955). Two of EC's finest teamed to create this page from the Picto-Fiction Magazine era. Reed Crandall is an excellent artist in his own right, but his inks have helped to make several great artists even better. Both Krigstein and Crandall extensively used dazzling linework in their comic art, and this 16" x 22" crime thriller is a rare blend of their talents. The panels are pasted-on to a support paper, and panel three has slipped loose (revealing a rough pencil layout) from the support paper: otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition.
