Andrea Di Vito Wolverine: First Class #1 Story Page 6 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 2008). It's Kitty Pryde's first day as a member of the X-Men, and Prof. X assigns her to tackle a mission with the super-team's resident grump, Wolverine. Wolverine objects. Excellent visual storytelling, here, even without Fred Van Lente's dialogue (which was added later, in a separate compositional layer). Always nice to see a Marvel page without the intrusive addition of word-balloons over the art. Also pictured: Iceman, Cyclops, Angel, Marvel Girl, and the Beast. Ink over graphite on Bristol board.
