Description

Al Capp Studio Li'l Abner and the Creatures from Drop-Outer Space (#nn) Story Page 28 Original Art (US Dept. of Labor, 1965).
These scenes are a "good girl" art collector's dream, as Daisy Mae prepares to give Sloppy-Belle a much-needed makeover with the help of the Job Corps. Frank Frazetta had a previous well-documented stint working for Capp on the Li'l Abner newspaper strip, and some collectors and historians have credited him with artwork on this project, though at this point his actual involvement - as well as any firm artist attribution on this art - is unclear. This pulchritudinous page has an image area of 9" x 13", and the art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Al Capp in the bottom panel, at its lower right.
