    Description

Whitman Artist The Flintstones Magic Rub-Off Pictures to Color Box Cover Painting Whitman #4440 Original Art (Whitman, 1962). The Flintstones were still on the air in 1962, and in fact, this is from the pre-Pebbles era. The toy consisted of 14 coloring pages and crayons, which could be wiped off and re-used. (Squirrel eraser not included, presumably.) The cover art was rendered in bright gouache on 19" x 11.75" Bristol board, and then affixed to a larger sheet of board for production purposes. The backing board is stained in the top right, and the top right corner is broken (only the backing mat, not the original art). In overall Excellent condition.
