Description

Ken Kelly Cormac Mac Art: The Robert E. Howard Library #1 Paperback Cover Painting Original Art (Baen, 1994). Done as a cover for the collection of Robert E Howard's Cormac Mac Art stories, this painting also has an alternate title of Landfall. It is was done in oils by a true fantasy master, Ken Kelly. Landfall was also published in the Ken Kelly art book, Escape, on page 16. Frank Frazetta painted the cover of an earlier book devoted to this character, and who better to paint his own rendition of this classic Robert E Howard hero, generations later, than Ken Kelly? Robert E. Howard's Cormac Mac Art is a descendent of other warriors from the time-forgotten lands of Atlantis and Cimmeria, and he is molded in the tradition of Conan. Lusty and violent, Cormac is a renegade and a pirate whose character is forged from the same cold steel as his relentless sword. This Ken Kelly masterwork has an overall size of 30" x 48", and the art is in Excellent condition.
