    Description

John Monteleone Wacky Package "Camals" Re-creation Illustration Original Art (c. 1979). Cartoonist and MAD alumni Paul Laikin was a gag writer for Wacky Packages, and for "Camals Cigarettes", Paul went back six years to a joke he wrote while working as the Editor of Cracked Magazine in 1961. Here, famed Illustrator John Monteleone re-creates that moment in tribute to the original design from the 1973 Topps Wacky Packages 1st Series. Created in acrylic on board with an image area of 7" x 13". Light handling wear and creases, and faint edge toning. Art remains in Excellent condition.
