Meticulously composed in wet-brush strokes and texture-rich spatter technique, this reclining nude captures the classically attuned artistry of Frank Stack -- more popularly known as a trailblazer in the Underground Comix movement, but seen here in his academic identity as a tenured professor of fine art at the University of Missouri.
