Description
Carl Barks Trespassers Will Be Ventilated Oil Painting Original Art (1988). Glittering Goldie get's Scrooge and the boy's attention in a direct way -- with the help of a rifle and an angry bear -- in this scene based on Carl Barks' classic 1953 Uncle Scrooge adventure for Four Color #456, "Back to the Klondike." It's a rip-roarin' story cited by many (including Don Rosa) as an all-time favorite. This oil on board painting has been indexed by Barks scholars as painting #134L. The image area of this piece measures 25" x 20", and it has been framed to an overall size of 32" x 27". The art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Carl Barks at the lower left.
