Description

Carl Barks Golden Cities of Cibola Painting Original Art (1975). Barks recreates a scene from his tale, "The Seven Cities of Cibola" (originally published in Uncle Scrooge #7), in this magnificent original painting, which features Scrooge and his clan knee deep in a glorious treasure of gold and precious gems. Rendered in oil on Masonite (painting #23-75), this piece was also featured in The Fine Art of Walt Disney's Donald Duck by Carl Barks. It is tastefully framed and matted to an image area of 19.5" x 15.5", and in Excellent condition. Signed and inscribed on the reverse by Carl Barks. From the Kerby Confer Collection.
