Boris Vallejo - "The Web of Wizardry" Paperback Cover Painting Original Art (Del Rey, 1978). This blood-chilling scene was painted for the cover of Juanita Coulson's science fiction novel. "The invading warriors appeared from nowhere-an implacable horde that ravaged the lands of Krantin, slaying and taking their own death wounds in eerie silence. The outer islands had falled, and soon the sorcery driven soldiers would be striking at Krantin's heart. The only hope for survival lay in an alliance of Royal forces with the fiercely independent desert marauders, the Destre-Y, ages old enemies."
