Bob Powell and Norman Saunders Batman Series 2 (Red Bat) #20A "Surfing Sleuths" Trading Card Painting Original Art (Topps, 1966). A groovy Norm Saunders opaque watercolor painting over a totally gear Bob Powell graphite layout. It features the Dynamic Duo on deck, to deck a dastardly dude! Although our question is, since he's on a surfboard on the ocean... exactly what did he just rob? This card may have helped inspire the 1967 episode "Surf's Up! Joker's Down!" which features the Caped (and Bat-trunk wearing) Crusader in a surf competition with the Joker. This image was originally rendered on illustration board, the top layer has been "skimmed" off and was at one time affixed to something else.
