Description

Bob Powell and Norman Saunders Batman Series 2 (Red Bat) #1A "The Ghostly Foe" Trading Card Painting Original Art (Topps, 1966). Batman's bulletproof costume keeps him safe in battle against a dapperly dressed invisible enemy on this incredible art created for trading cards released in 1966 at the height of Bat-Mania spinning out of the popular Batman TV series. Norm Saunders provided the opaque watercolor painting over a Bob Powell graphite layout. This image was initially rendered on an illustration board; the top layer has been "skimmed" off and was at one time affixed to something else. This pint-sized pearl measures approximately 4.75" x 3.5" and is in Very Good condition.
