Bob Larkin Conan the Freebooter Painting Original Art (1979). There is a certain challenge assumed when an artist agrees to represent a popular icon with his artwork, and this scene will be of particular interest to the fast fans of Conan. Bob Larkin was more than willing to rise to such a challenge -- his use of rich color adeptly captures a skirmish that marks a legendary time in the Conan saga. This blazing battle scene showcases Conan's freebooting days as a pirate and a reaver. This oil on canvas painting has an approximate image area of 28.5" x 20", and the piece has been framed to an overall size of 33" x 27".
