This magnificent "monster-piece," painted in acrylic paint on illustration board, is an electrifying example of Bernie Wrightson's unnerving knack for the horror/fantasy genre. Wrightson's mastery of composition, shading, and color combine to create a baleful, blood-chilling scene. Signed at the lower right.
