Description
Angus McKie The Planet Runner Original Art (Media Graphic Creations, 1981). McKie is best known as an English science fiction illustrator whose work appeared on the covers of numerous science fiction paperback novels in the mid-1970s and 1980s. He also wrote and illustrated the story entitled "So Beautiful and So Dangerous" for Heavy Metal magazine, which later became a segment in the 1981 film. Created acrylic on illustration board with an edge to edge image area of 13.75" x 21.5". Light handling and edge wear, soft corner bumps, minor surface scuffing, creasing, and the board is coming apart in the top right corner.
