    Description

    P. Craig Russell and Jack Abel Amazing Adventures #27 Killraven Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1974). This is P. Craig Russell's first issue on the series inspired by H. G. Wells' War of the Worlds novel! Killraven and crew are on Lake Erie in a skim boat for this opening page to the story 'The Death Breeders", written by Don McGregor. Those giant leeches make us think the name should be changed to "Lake Eerie"! Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is a bit of art correction whiteout in places, and some printer's oil stain in the image area on the right side (over the credits). The indicia and one of the word balloons are paste-ups. In Very Good condition.
