    Description

Neal Adams Studios and John Buscema (attributed) Star Trek: The Time Stealer [Book and Record Set] #BR513 Story Page 3 Original Art (Power Records, 1976). Of the several Star Trek Power Records stories produced, this one is both famous and infamous! This is the very page that introduces Konrac the Barbarian (and his wizardly consort). Famous because the story is full of great Neal Adams studio art (reportedly Dick Giordano helped on inks), but also because it is thought that John Buscema handled the figures for the wizard and Conan... uh, we mean "Konrac". The story is a bit infamous as it interjects actual magic into the Star Trek universe. Not "science beyond our understanding", but magic. All we know is that regardless, this is a great looking page produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 13". Most of the original art in Panels 2, 4, and 6 are original art correction paste-ups. There are whiteout art corrections in several places, including all of Konrac's faces. The lightly toned page is also incorrectly labeled as "Mirror" (i.e. "A Mirror For Futility", the other story on this LP) in the top margin. There are multiple pinholes in the top center margin. In Very Good condition.
