    Description

Neal Adams Ben Casey Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-8-65 (NEA Syndicate, 1965).
Two Beat-generation poets are stalked by a demanding woman -- what's up with that? Wasn't Ben Casey supposed to have been a hospital drama? Well, the subject matter scarcely matters when the great Neal Adams is weaving his illustrative spell. This teevee-spinoff strip launched prodigy Adams into a trailblazing career as one of the essential heroic artists in comic books. Ink and Zipatone shading film over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 14.5" x 4.25". Lightly toned and in Excellent condition.
