Neal Adams and Dick Giordano Justice League of America #88 Cover Original Art (DC, 1971). Neal Adams redefined the DC heroes' images at the tail end of the Silver Age, and for the Bronze Age, continuing the JLA's evolution from the earlier versions established by Mike Sekowsky, Murphy Anderson, and Dick Dillin. This is one of Adams' most character-rich covers for DC, and one of his best, too. This iconic composition features all of the major characters: Batman, Superman, Hawkman, the Flash, Black Canary, Aquaman, Mera, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and the Atom. Before Adams, DC was often criticized for having very static covers. The figures were posed and wooden. Adams changed all that with his dramatic compositions and realistic figures. This piece is certainly one of the best Neal Adams covers ever offered for public sale. This fantastic piece for "The Last Survivors of Earth" has an image area of 10" x 15". The price tag stat is missing; otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Neal Adams at the upper right.
