    Description

Murphy Anderson Strange Adventures #236 Cover Original Art (DC, 1972). Murphy Anderson is one of the most respected Silver and Bronze Age artists. Here he recreates, in stunning fashion, the eye-catching cover hook for the 1955 Ed Herron sci-fi classic, "The Human Fishbowl." Fans take note, although this issue is designated as #234 on the cover art, it was actually used on Issue #236. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, top and side dressing are stat pate-ups with aged adhesive residue, marginal notes, and the page is signed by Murphy Anderson at the upper left, and DC editor Julius Schwartz at the lower right. In Very Good condition.
