Description

Murphy Anderson Strange Adventures #147 Cover Original Art (DC, 1962). With a name like Strange Adventures, the pressure was on writers and artists to live up to that moniker each month. The team of Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson make it look like a breeze! This month, they treated us to the story "The Dawn-World Menace!", which was apparently cavemen riding Pteranodons while fighting jet planes! Rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The logo and other header info were stat paste-ups. The board is toned, with some glue residue and handling wear. In Very Good condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
