    Description

Murphy Anderson DC Comics Presents #8 Story Page 14 Original Art (DC Comics, 1979). Swamp Thing is flabbergasted to see a clone of Solomon Grundy -- a zombie-like menace from DC's earlier years -- as the creature goes on a rampage. The story pairs Swamp Thing with Superman (who does not appear in this sequence but is mentioned in the dialogue). Anderson captures both monstrous characters with unerring accuracy. Ink over graphite on Vellum, affixed to Bristol board. Image area of 10" x 15". Blue pencil marks and overall toning. Very Good condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
