Yoshitaka Amano 1001 Nights Production Cel (Hyperion Studio/Bellsystem 24, 1998). Acclaimed Japanese painter and designer Yoshitaka Amano, best known for his work on the Final Fantasy video game series, created the instrumental short film 1001 Nights, which brings to life the fantastical dreams of a prince and princess. The illustration offered here can be seen at the 3:09 mark of the film. This lot includes the preparatory drawing, rendered in pure graphite on animation paper, and the final artwork, created in graphite, watercolor, and white paint on illustration paper. Both pieces have an approximate image area of 15" x 10". Light handling wear, with some creasing on the preparatory drawing. In Very Good condition.
