Western Publishing Artist - Cover Preliminary Original Art, Group of 11 (Gold Key/Whitman, 1971-79). This interesting and diverse group of Western Publishing preliminary art includes pencil roughs and cover variations for Sylvester and Tweety (issues #85, 86, 88, 89, 90, and 91); an alternative unused pencil sketch of the cover Yosemite Sam #4; and a hand-colored photocopy of pencil preliminary for Pink Panther #60. There is also a 5.5" x 8" hand-painted color preliminary sketch of the cover of Turok, Son of Stone #113; an airbrushed image of Bugs Bunny (8.25" x 9"); and a progressive color key for Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery #80. As if that is not enough, we're including eight approximately 9" x 6.5" pages of a "Brit and Brat" story by an unidentified artist, one of these pieces is hand-colored with marker and colored pencil. All these items average in Excellent condition. From the Random House Archives.
