Description
Warren Kremer Black Cat Mystery #46 Cover Preliminary Original Art (Harvey, 1953). This prelim allowed Kremer to plan the layout and color scheme before attempting the larger final work. When he did so, Kremer toned down some of the exagerated "over-the-top"-ness of it, and turned up the malevolence! This prelim was created in ink and crayon on vellum with an image area of 3.5" x 5". Toned and in Very Good condition.From the Roger Hill Collection.
