The Professor and His Machine Etched Glass Room Divider Original Art (McDonald's/Setmakers, c. 1970s). This big beautifully rendered drawing features the Professor and his Magic Machine along with a fry-stealing Gobblin and Hamburger Patch. It was created to serve as a template for one of Setmakers' Etched Glass Room Dividers. McDonald's restaurants used these dividers to section off party areas in their dining rooms and the imagery often featured McDonaldland characters and scenery. This composition also includes detailed notations throughout the image indicating the different degrees of etching needed to create various values within the art. It's a graphite image over two sheets of vellum taped together with an overall measurement of approximately 3' 4" x 4' 1". An 11" square section in the lower right corner has been added and attached with tape. The paper is folded, rolled, and shows handling and edge wear, along with some small tears along the right border; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
