DescriptionSteve Kaufman Tweety Bird Limited Edition Silkscreen Art Print #1/50 (1999). The late Steve Kaufman was best known for his work with Andy Warhol, but he had a wide career within his short lifetime. Princess Diana, Frank Sinatra, President Bill Clinton, and Muhammad Ali were subjects of Kaufman portraits; he also created graphics for NBC-TV's Saturday Night Live and held countless art shows. This way-cool image of the classic Warner Brothers animation star Tweety Bird was silkscreen onto canvas, and hand-embellished with added paint and glitter, for a one-of-a-kind effect. The stretched canvas measures approximately 20" x 20" x 2"; in Very Good condition with some slight storage/handling wear. The canvas is numbered signed "SAK" (the nickname Warhol gave him) and inscribed "To my best friend" on the reverse.
