Simon Bisley Lord of the Rings Portfolio Preliminary Original Art (1989). Bisley's take on the Lord of the Rings mythology depicts a Warrior Hobbit in a standoff against a demonic horde. The proposed portfolio did not materialize, but this dynamic rarity offers a vivid suggestion of the glories that might have been. Mixed media on art paper, measuring 10.75" x 12".
