    Description

Ronald's Room Simulated Leaded Glass Room Divider Original Art (McDonald's/Setmakers, c. 1970s). Here is a magnificent hand-drawn portrait of the clown who started it all. It is the original pencil design for one of Setmakers' simulated leaded glass room dividers. This Setmakers Archives piece was designed specifically for Ronald's Rooms which were partitioned areas within a McDonald's restaurant dedicated to hosting children's parties. Handwritten beneath the art is a date of 5/2/79 and "Ronald Room Full Scale Master" indicating that it is the final approved design used in production. The enormous image of Ronald McDonald set amongst floral elements measures a staggering 3' 7.5" x 4' 8.5" on 3' x 5' 5" vellum that is rolled, and shows minor handling wear, edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
