DescriptionRonald McDonald Reclining Dimensional Character Plaque Concept Drawings by Wes Cook Original Art Group of 4 (McDonald's/Setmakers, c. 1970s). The reclining Ronald was a hugely popular image for Setmakers in both their statuary and line of three-dimensional plaques. These four drawings represent a variety of poses and secondary characters for consideration in the design of this decorative item. All of them are by the hand of legendary McDonaldland artist and Disney theme park designer, Wes Cook. The art is masterfully rendered in graphite, measuring approximately 10" x 18" on 19" x 24" vellum, and each image is framed in quarter-inch masking tape. The artist has signed them in the lower right corner, by the Setmakers logo. They show minor handling and edge wear with small tears that are nowhere near the image. Condition is Very Good.
