    Description

Robert Crumb Ray Spool Art Original Art (c. 1960s). Anyone who has seen Terry Zwigoff's award-winning 1995 documentary film, Crumb, will remember the opening scene in Robert's studio, showing dozens of hand-decorated old-time wooden spools, each featuring a human face. This charming example is called Ray, and it features a rather stern faced red-haired man wearing a pink and red check shirt. The spool stands approximately 2" tall and 1.5" at its widest points, and is in Excellent condition. Very cool!
