DescriptionRobert Crumb Mickey Spool Found-Item Original Art (undated). As seen in the 1994 biography Crumb, directed by Terry Zwigoff, Robert Crumb would decorate threadspools to turn them into hand-crafted "found-art" items. This one is named "Jesse", as printed on the top. The face is rich with R. Crumb's magical art style. Knick-knacks like this decorated the Crumb home. The wooden spool measures 1.25" tall and 1" in diameter. The art is created in ink on wood, and there is some natural wear. In Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
