DescriptionRobert Crumb "Little Ray" Theadspool Head Found-Item Original Art (undated). Created at the same time as the threadspool heads seen in the 1994 biography Crumb, directed by Terry Zwigoff, this is a piece of hand-crafted art by Robert Crumb. Named "Little Ray", as printed on the top, it is fully illustrated all the way around. Knick-knacks such as this decorated the Crumb home. The wooden threadspool measures just over 1" tall and almost 1" in diameter. Ink on wood, there is some natural wear and a small bit chipped on the bottom edge that may have been that way from the time of creation. In Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
