DescriptionRobert Crumb "Howard" Theadspool Head Found-Item Original Art (undated). Created at the same time as the threadspool heads seen in the 1994 biography Crumb, directed by Terry Zwigoff, this is a piece of hand-crafted art by Robert Crumb. This one is named "Howard", as printed on the top. Knick-knacks such as this decorated the Crumb home. The wooden threadspool measures just over 1" tall and almost 1" in diameter. The unmistakable Crumb-face is created ink on wood, and there is some natural wear. In Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
