DescriptionReed Crandall - Flash Gordon Double-Sided Preliminary Original Art and Print Group of 3 (c. 1960s). This striking image of Flash, having obviously just saved Dale Arden from yet another "fate-worse-than-death", seems to have been a favorite pose for Crandall. The double-sided loose graphite pencils on 11.5" x 14.5" Bristol board image is a near match on both front and back. Flash's detailed face is expressive and iconic. This group comes with two copies of a 17" x 22" print that is essentially this same pose with only minor differences. The prints have slight corner creases, the original art is only slightly tanned, otherwise these are in Excellent condition. From the Al Williamson Collection.
