DescriptionPeter Ledger Uncle Scrooge: His Life and Times Story Title Page Hand-Colored Blueline Signed by Carl Barks (Celestial Arts, 1981). In 1981, a deluxe book reprinted classic Uncle Scrooge stories by Carl Barks, with each page recolored by British artist Peter Ledger. Mr. Ledger was given artboards printed with blue line images shot from the original artwork, which he colored by use of airbrush. Here is the title page from the 1956 story "The Second-Richest Duck", with a black line art acetate overlay on top of Mr. Ledger's new color work. Signed by Carl Barks in the lower left margin. The art and overlay are matted, with an opening size of 10" x 13", and framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 16.5" x 19.5". Some dings to the frame, but art appears to be in Excellent condition.
