Pete Alvarado Looney Tunes Comics and Activity-Book Original Art Group of 4 (Western Publ. & Warner Bros., c. 1960s). These bright vignettes appear to have been designed for coloring-book presentation and/or March of Comics pamphlets, considering the varied dimensions and the absence of upper-tier logotype space. No publishing pedigree is documented, but each piece is consistent with Alvarado's long-term vision of Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, et Al. as adventurous and friendly characters, aimed at a younger audience than that sought by the official newsstand comic books. Mixed media on tracing-stock. Image areas, 7" x 9.5" to 12" x 4". Good to Very Good condition.
