DescriptionMike Marland Snuffy Smith Sunday Comic Strip Preliminary Artwork Original Art Group of 18 (King Features Syndicate, 2001). Starting in 2001, Mike Marland was a gag writer for John Rose's Barney Google and Snuffy Smith. These appear to be prelims submitted (although they appear to be unused). They are dated in the lower margins, however those dates are not Sundays. So likely they were the dates they were submitted. Ink on paper, most have an image area of approximately 12" x 8.5". Each is signed. In overall Excellent condition. From A Collection of Great Cartoonists and Illustrators.
