DescriptionMcDonald's Toy Design Drawings by Wes Cook Original Art Group of 6 (McDonald's/Setmakers, c. 1970s). These original graphite concept renderings are for toys proposed by Setmakers. They include both small and riding vehicles and each design is signed and dated by the artist Wes Cook. Mr. Cook had a long career as both artist and art director for a variety of film and television studios and went on to become an Imagineer for Tokyo DisneySea. In the course of his career he served as Creative Director for Setmakers and was tasked with the conception of custom toys and playground equipment for MacDonald's restaurants. All are rendered in graphite on vellum ranging in size 11" x 14" to 14" x 16.5". The pieces show minor handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
