Maurice Sendak - Moishe "Wild Thing" T-Shirt Design Preliminary Original Art (1998). Adorably monstrous Moishe takes center stage in this piece, a preliminary sketch for a T-shirt design featuring one of Maurice Sendak's most beloved characters from his 1963 children's classic, Where the Wild Things Are. This charming sketch was also published on Page 191 of Maurice Sendak: A Celebration of the Artist and His Work, a 2013 collection celebrating the iconic illustrator. Rendered in graphite on paper, the signed sketch measures approximately 5.25" x 5" and is beautifully framed alongside a folded copy of the finished T-shirt, creating a total framed size of 27.25" x 20.25".
