    Description

John Rosenberger Archie Preliminary Story Page 3 Original Art (Archie, c. 1970s). An unpublished penciled page featuring Archie, Veronica, and Reggie, involving Archie's "date" to the drive-in -- a clothing store female dummy! The page was originally obtained directly from the estate of John Rosenberger (1918-1977), and verified by his family as from his hand. The art is in graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 12" x 17.5". Minor handling wear, otherwise Excellent condition. Funny gag!

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
