Description
John Romita Sr. Mutant X #18 Cover Preliminary Original Art (Marvel, 2000). This is a rough preliminary sketch of a very different Nick Fury on the cover of Mutant X. This design would later be realized, with some changes, by Cary Nord and Andrew "Margeaux" Pepoy. Produced in pencil on tracing paper, affixed to a second sheet of paper. Approximate image area 8" x 10". Paper is lightly toned with heavy handling wear, graphite smudges, production tape in margins and writing in ink on the image area. Signed by Romita.
